About UCAS Point Calculator

UCAS Point Calculator is a free, independent tool built to help students across the UK quickly and accurately calculate their UCAS tariff points. We built this site because working out your points by hand, cross-referencing multiple qualification types against the official tariff table, takes time and is easy to get wrong. Our calculator does it in seconds.

We cover all major qualification types accepted by UK universities, including A-Levels, AS-Levels, BTEC Nationals, T Levels, Cambridge Technicals, Scottish Highers, Advanced Highers, the International Baccalaureate, EPQ, Welsh Baccalaureate, and Access to HE Diploma. You can mix and combine qualifications in a single calculation to get your accurate total.

Who This Site Is For

This tool is for any student who needs to know their UCAS tariff points total. That includes Year 12 and Year 13 students checking whether they meet university entry requirements, students comparing offers, students planning subject choices, and parents or teachers supporting someone through the UCAS application process.

It is also useful after results day, when you need to quickly check whether your actual grades meet the conditions of an offer before confirming through UCAS.

How We Keep Information Accurate

All point values in our calculator and tariff tables are based on the official UCAS Tariff published by UCAS. We review the tariff data regularly and update the site whenever UCAS makes changes to the point values or adds new qualifications to the system.

If you notice anything that looks incorrect, please use the contact page to let us know and we will look into it promptly.

Independence

This site is independent and has no affiliation with UCAS, any university, or any awarding body. We do not provide official admissions advice. All information on this site is for guidance only. Always confirm entry requirements directly with universities and through the official UCAS website at ucas.com.
